RMCAANA Observership Program

RRMCAANA Observership Program

At RMCAANA, we unite Rawalpindi Medical University graduates worldwide to advance healthcare, education, and community service.

About Program

The RMCAANA Observership Program is designed to support graduates of Rawalpindi Medical College in gaining valuable clinical exposure in the United States. Through this initiative, RMCAANA members across multiple specialties offer observership and clinical rotation opportunities to help young physicians understand the U.S. healthcare system, enhance their clinical skills, and strengthen their residency applications.

In addition to clinical training, the program connects applicants with experienced mentors who can provide guidance on visa preparation, interview readiness, and residency application strategies. This initiative serves as a bridge between medical education in Pakistan and postgraduate training opportunities in North America.

How It Works

RMCAANA is developing a dedicated Observership Application Portal to streamline the application and matching process.

Applicants will be able to:

  • Submit a centralized online application through the RMCAANA portal
  • Be reviewed and matched with participating mentors based on availability and profile
  • Receive communication and further instructions upon selection

⚠️ Important:
Some physicians prefer to manage observership placements independently. For these opportunities, applicants must contact the physician directly using the details provided below.

Important Notes

  • RMCAANA aims to provide a centralized, transparent, and merit-based matching process through its portal
  • There is no RMCAANA application fee at this time
  • Individual physicians may have their own requirements or administrative charges
  • Travel, accommodation, visa processing, and personal expenses are the responsibility of the applicant
  • Visa support letters may be provided at the discretion of the supervising physician
  • Placement is subject to mentor availability and selection criteria
