Project Overview

We invite you to join hands in supporting the RMCAANA Qarz-e-Hasna Program, a scholarship initiative dedicated to assisting Rawalpindi Medical University (RMU) students in their journey towards USMLE and medical residency in the United States.

Many of our fellow alumni have expressed a strong desire to support students in need, and RMCAANA, under the leadership of dedicated physicians, has taken the initiative to make this a reality.

The Qarz-e-Hasna Committee has made significant progress in advancing RMCAANA’s mission of supporting RMU graduates pursuing medical training opportunities in the United States. Following a successful fundraising campaign, the committee established the 2026 loan cycle and implemented a structured application and review process.

To date, the committee has conducted multiple rounds of interviews, thoroughly evaluating candidates based on financial need, academic excellence, and program eligibility. As a result, six outstanding applicants have been approved for interest-free loans, with fund disbursement currently underway.

Applications and interviews will continue through June 30, 2026, ensuring that all eligible candidates receive fair consideration. Through this initiative, RMCAANA continues to invest in the professional development of future physicians, helping talented graduates overcome financial barriers while fostering a lasting culture of mentorship, service, and giving back.
